Its been months since they had the stupid pop up ads and it was so nice. I knew it was too good to last. Oh well, back to the WZZM 13 app

Currently has full screen ads that launch at random points while using the app. While that is incredibly annoying, the ads play sound, even if your phone is on vibrate. Not worth your time or space on your phone with that level of disrespect.

Its been a year and a half since the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus has been released and you STILL cant release an app thats optimized for the larger screens. Every one of the 90 apps I have on my phone has been but this one!

Dont bother unless you like to spend half the time reading the news and have the time trying to target the little x on all the popup ads. Ridiculous

I usually dont have a problem with the wood tv 8 application but the last update made it a problem because of the fact adds pop up even when they pop up once they will pop up again I cant believe that this is happening to a app that has such potential at being the best app out their but right now I can say sorry the Dark Sky weather app, Weather bug app, and accurate weather app have this one beat because they have no pop up adds I would much rather put up with them at the bottom of the screen than have them pop up while I am reading the news if this app is not fixed of the adds problem this app will be first to go on my phone please fix this app then you get my 5 stars

New version updated last week. App has been crashing quite a bit; especially with weather Crashes when I view the interactive radar. WoodTV8 app is the one app I have that crashes the most. I should learn to open online or just go to another TV station with an app that has stability.

Wood has really gone downhill with this app. Opens with auto dealer ad that cant be stopped until it plays out. Really wood?? Who does this nowadays? Old news, very few update! Deleting this app now!

Your pop up advertisements are bad! 12:01Am trying to read the news, and you hit me with your Video commercial at 12Am

Not only are the ads IN YOUR FACE...But if you read an article you have to then scroll all the way back to the top to go back. Have the devs of the app tried it? Time to re think

This is my least favorite news app. I got accustomed to making sure that I muted my device before I open this app so that I dont wake up everyone in the house with the obnoxious ads. Yesterday, when I tried to look at photos of the recent storm, I was "allowed" to see 5 photos before it required me to download one of several free games!!?!! I could not see the rest of the photos unless I "supported" them by downloading a free game...sorry, the ads were bad enough, but dont tell me what to put on my device! I wonder if the advertisers on this app know how much we detest it? Avoid this app!!!

Every time I open the app it said "fetching articles" and would not let me navigate past that. I deleted it and got Fox News.

Pop-up ads will pull you away from the app multiple times in a viewing. The news and weather content have always been good, but the ads need to be reigned in again.

There are too many ads that open safari.

Wood TV has always been a good source for news. However, lately it seems it has been nothing but a site for commercials. Its annoying to open the app to catch up on the news in a quiet waiting room only to have commercials start playing loudly ....or to be watching a video only to have another ad pop up while you are watching and then restart the video and have to rewatch the same ad in before viewing the video you were previously watching. Other pop ups want you to install crazy games apps I can honestly say that the way the ads are placed and shown in the wood tv app make me not want to support the advertiser. I know you needs ads/sponsors. Put the ads off to the side with no video or interruptions and Im more likely to support these companies for the simple fact of not having the ad placement the way it is now. Keep news the news and put your sponsors in a designated part of the screen. These annoying ads make me annoyed with the company being advertised. I would support companies that give me a pop-up free, audio free, video ad free experience on the app. Maybe its a scrolling banner at the bottom of the screen. Lose the pop-ups, audio ads, install more app ads and video ads! Give us a great news source and tell us the names of the companies (no frills) that give us this excellent news source. I think this would be better for wood tv and for companies that sponsor your app.

This app is glitchy, slow, and crammed full of ads. This app could use a complete overhaul.

I just moved to the area so Im not biased. The design of the app is outdated. It reminds me of what news apps used to look like years ago back when they werent designed as well. Heres some free outside consultation advice -contract someone to redesign the app so you can put have a product thats at least competitive with other news apps. Whatever initial costs incurred will be worth it to retain users.

Terrible to navigate. Old app was superior at least you could view the news without it redirecting you to an ad every 30 seconds. What happened to disqus? That was the only feature that made this app worth it.

If you want an app that constantly says "fetching articles... please wait" then this is the app for you. Worthless.

Much better design. However its very sensitive, Ill just be scrolling when the app thinks I touched an ad and jumps over to the App Store. Annoying to say the least.

Shouldnt have messed with this. The new version wouldnt be bad except it immediately redirects you the App Store to download some stupid game. I go to a news site for News not games! As usual Ill take my business to Fox17 and WWMT3.
